COPE: COVID-19 Antibody Testing of Patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD)
Welcome to the COPE Study Home page!
COVID-19 Antibody Testing of Patients with ESRD is being led by the transplant team at Johns Hopkins. Our principal investigator is Mara McAdams DeMarco, PhD. This study has been approved by the Johns Hopkins Institutional Review Board (IRB00249848).
The purpose of this research study is to determine COVID-19 antibody levels in hemodialysis patients with ESRD who get the COVID-19 vaccine. The study does not provide the vaccine, and study team members will not be offering guidance as to whether or not one should receive a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine.
If you are interested in participating in this study and plan to receive a SARS Cov-2 vaccine, we will ask to collect a blood sample before and after vaccination.
We are now enrolling participants for this observational study.
